Sight words (also known as Dolch words) do not follow the basic phonics so they cannot be “sounded out” as they are read. They need to be learned by sight! That’s where Meghan’s Memory games come in. Each grade/age specific game contains the sight words for that group. Meghan’s Memory Games will help your child to recognize and identify sight words by utilizing them as the game pieces that are matched together in a memory game. So, not only is your child’s concentration and attention skills being developed, but they are learning sight words at the same time.
